When med rec is done in the ED and home meds are verified, they should populate to the orders and the admitting physician can order them or hold them as needed there. Currently the admitting physician is having to look at the list of home meds that are in his ED note and enter them individually
Home Medications that have been entered and confirmed may be ordered directly from the Medication Reconciliation application using the Admission Destination (set up allows for Admission Orders from EDIS). Additional orders may be placed after selecting Reconcile to launch into Order Entry.
