Provider is asking for a "now" indicator in addition to the stat check box on orders within order entry.
We currently already have a STAT button via Pharmacy, Ancillary, Nursing and provider Order Entry which indicates that the order should be done now. Including an additional NOW button with a different meaning/function than STAT would be confusing from an end-user perspective.
This button would allow provider to indicate to nurse to administer now vs the provider having to free type in the instruction field.
