It would be nice to list the patient's medical record number in the patient ID/header along with the DOB and account number. This is utilized as an additional patient identifier and needs to be visible in the chart.
ID Panel Updates in 21.06.02
The Thrive ID Panel now extends to the left side of the screen and displays above the navigation panel. In addition, gender identity will now be linked to the ID Panel through Health History-Sexual History. Diagnosis/Chief Complaint, CrCL, and Attending Physician will display outside of the suitcase at lower pixelation levels. Lastly, the Medical Record Number will now display in a hover-over state associated with the patient’s encounter number.
I agree that the patient's medical record number needs to be in the patient ID/Header. This is used by numerous departments to identify the patient.
What about the profile number - is it available anywhere in the TWC screens?
Note that MRN may be added to the Tracking Board and is available from Demographics > Personal at this time.
Agree, I've received several complaints about this since the update. It is crazy what you have to go through right now in web client to find the MRN. It isn't in the info on the white board list. It isn't in the demographics tile in PDC and it isn't in the listing in Visit History. You pretty much have to pull the face sheet to find out what the MRN is.
