Report Dashboard User Defined Prompt Parameters

It would be nice to be able to create a report with user defined prompt parameters. I would like to be able to set up a report that I can select my own parameters on the main report screen where you enter your parameters instead of adding the field again in Advanced. This would help with users that are not savvy in reports and filtering and reduce time with having to add the field again that you are search on everytime you run the report.
