Resource Conflict checking for Surgery Scheduling

Is it possible to add a conflict checking option when scheduling surgery(or any dept). Specifically if there is a shared resource such as a C-ARM or other asset that is mandatory to complete a case, but only limited resources exist. This may be done by adding a data base subset for the shared resource and a quantity for that item. This then can be allowed to be selected in the scheduling screen by either drop box , etc. Thank you!
