When we open a chart, the room number is over by the account number and does not say anything to indicate it is a room number. We have many providers that would like to see it show up directly after or under the patient's name. They also ask that there is a slight shading alternation on the whiteboard and tracking board. So, one like is white and the next is light gray and then back to white and so on. They find it very difficult to see on the whiteboard especially.
Thanks, let me see what we can do about the room number issue. If needed, I may break out the request related to the shading on the Whiteboard and Tracking Board to it's own item since it is another team that would need to consider those changes.
Thanks for the update. I think that would help. The main thing the providers say is that it is not distinct enough with the icon only and they want the room number to be more prominent.
Our current plans for the space requested for the Room number is where we will include the Preferred Name of the patient. Would it help to add the word Room instead of having the location icon?
As for the alternating striped shading for the White Board and Tracking Board, I will pass this along to the responsible team. We may need to create a separate Dream factory item for this as it is a different team and needs to be considered independently from the ID panel request.
