I have not received any examples for this one. If allergens cannot be found in the allergy lookup, please call in a situation. There are several reasons an allergen may not be returned in the search, and the team needs to look at each instance to determine the reason. There are instances where a brand name has been discontinued/no longer made. The medication/allergen may be new on the market and not exist in the Allergy table yet. Please review https://cpsideas.aha.io/ideas/ideas/DFE-I-2202 as it also deals with a specific brand name of Keflex that has been deactivated and no longer exists in the allergy lookup. We will be looking into that issue further to determine if another solution is needed.
