We have a PT clinic as well as wound care and cardica/pulmonary rehabs that have patient balances after insurance has processed, but those balances don't go into the patient payment portal until the entire visit has been discharged. It would be nice if the patient could see their balance once it becomes patient responsibility allowing them to pay it on the payment portal.
YES! We do not use Persona Pay but there needs to be a better way to get recurring bill balances to patients before the visit is discharged. Why can't Thrive recognize that if one month of services has been paid on these types of claim it goes to a statement. I will state that we do not use the statement process in Thrive but rather run an ad hoc report to generate a spreadsheet to send to our statement company.
