Data Required for Syndromic Surveillance

Here are a few items to make the State required interface for SSEDON populate the data required.

1. Not Allow free text of Chief Complaint, must use magnifier to find the correct one.

2. Trigger Onset Date to verify that the system date of chief complaint entry is the correct onset date or make this field empty and required to be completed.

3. Set a default discharge disposition on Stay Type 1 (Inpatients) to D (80-Still Patient) that can be changed at discharge.

4. Have a setting that will require pregnancy status on female patients in certain age rage to be entered.

5. Have a setting that all new admissions must access demographics tab at admission to complete required fields set by facility.
