Newborn bracelet with barcode should fit IN a newborn bracelet.

The current 'bracelet that comes from registration for newborns does not allow for the barcode scanner to fit into the bracelet that is placed on the newborn wrist and ankle.

This is a patient safety issue for medication administration as there is no barcode attached to the infant for verification of correct patient prior to administration.

The barcode/name band from CPSI does not work for newborns. It would be great if the band/barcode/printer could be modified to fit into a smaller newborn bracelet. (The newborn bracelet is about 1/4-1/2 the size of the adult bracelet yet the patient information/barcode is the same size for both adult and newborns.

Could the fields be modified to print smaller for newborns?
