E-Form Documentation not forwarding

In an E-form, when using the anatomical figures to mark wound locations, this attaches an alpha character on the anatomical figure that the nurse documents the specifics of the location below in the form. The problem is when the next nurse comes along to document the same lcoations, the anatomical markups do not forward to a new form, even though the descriptors DO forward, forcing the nurse to have to switch back and forth to make sure they are documenting on the same location. Ripe for errors.
