It would be nice to be able to search patients by the account number under "Charts", like we were able to in the old system. This only allows us to search by name or to find them in a specific department, if they are already here. Since, we are in pre-op and deal with patients prior to them being assigned a department, it would be much easier to have the ability to look them up with their unique account number.

This feature will be included in the 22.01 release that is tentatively scheduled for April/May
You can search on the White board with the patient's account number to find the specific a encounter.
With the last update of 22.00.00 they added the option to search by date of birth, medical record number, or name in Search by Profile (used to be search by name).
