Report of PRN Reason/Indication

Our facility is trying to minimize duplicate PRN orders. For example, had a patient today with APAP 500mg PRNq4 pain scale 1-3, and also an order for IBU 400 PRN q6 pain scale 1-3. Unless a nurse or pharmacist goes into each med within the pharmacy profile, or clicks into each med through the MAR, there is no easy way to view all PRN indications on a patient. There needs to be a report that could auto populate each last (like soft stops or CrCl) that shows all PRN indications with meds on each individual patient, whether a med has been administered during the pt stay or not.
