Changes to 1 parameter in the report dashboard should not reset all parameters to default.

It is very frustrating to change parameters when running a report because if you don't follow a top down flow it will reset to defaults. An example is that if I adjust the date parameters then select the level of detail under miscellaneous followed by selecting the output format under miscellaneous but then go back and change the level of detail when I run the report it will reset to the dates to what ever the default is. What I am suggesting and asking for is that when you input a parameter it should stay on that parameter regardless of what or when you change the rest of the parameters.
