Future Orders = Pending Orders with NO date until released

Future Orders need to look/work more like actual future orders or pending orders like they do in other EHRs. Sometimes you do know the date/time you want to place the Future Order but a lot of time it's not that simple so we want the date scheduled to not exist until you release the order then either you could select a date/time or it would be the moment you release the order or something like that. For example we preregister our newborns before they are born and the nurses use our Order Sets to place the orders but we don't know when the baby is going to be born. It could be today or it could be 2 days from now but if you use Future Orders the "scheduled date/time" is exactly when you were entering the orders, not when you are releasing the orders so when we want the PKU to be 24 hours after delivery there's no way to do that with future orders cause we aren't psychic. I feel like Future Orders are worthless unless you know EXACTLY when you want the order to be performed.
