Order Verification Security

Currently, it is possible to restrict users from verifying orders from Pharmacy via the Order Verification module, however, there is no way to control which specific order types a user can or cannot verify within the Verify Orders queue in Charts or Order Verification via Nursing (System Menu).

If a user has access to these verification tools, they are granted the ability to verify all order types, regardless of their role or intended scope of responsibility.

Proposed Enhancement:

Introduce user security settings that allow administrators to define which order types a user can verify within:

• Verify Orders (Charts)

• Order Verification (Nursing via System Menu)

This would support more precise role-based access and improve workflow safety by ensuring only appropriate staff can verify specific types of orders.
