We would like to be able to see only patients that have not checked in yet, cancel requests, and reschedule requests only so that they can use Patient Connect during the day to see who is left to be taken care of for the day instead of bouncing between Patient Connect and Scheduling.
In Patient Connect, there are filters for Cancel/Reschedule requests and Scheduled appointments. Scheduled appointments would filter to the appointments that have not checked in, cancelled, completed or no showed.
11/7/24: Jennifer May (Product Owner) updated that we are going to make these changes so that the filter will show Scheduled appointments independent from the confirmation status. We will make this change in the next Patient Connect release.
This does not work completely in a way to allow registration staff to rely on Patient Connect during the day of service for the schedule, schedule changes, and tags without having Scheduling and Patient Connect open. If you choose Scheduled, your Unconfirmed, Confirmed, Request Cancel, and Request rescheduled patients disappear. We would really like this to replace scheduling and give our staff more of "worklist" schedule throughout the day by a status filter that will only show patients that have not checked in (to included confirmed and unconfirmed), request cancelations and request reschedule all in one filter so that they are not having to consistently change their filters to work the schedule/patient connect throughout the day. The way it is now requires them to consistently have to change filters or consistently look at both applications which they end up ignoring patient connect so the tags and communication with the patient digitally becomes worthless and an unused feature. I need to reduce the number of screens/modules they need to access when they are registering a patient so that I can get buy in for patient connect.
