It would be beneficial to have a report that shows any missing IV start/stop times as well as any undocumented medications in the MAR. I know that there are color indicators that are shown on the MAR and that the discharge checklist flags missing IV stop times. But searching through each patient's MAR to make sure nothing got missed can be cumbersome and we are attempting to decrease the amount of days that erroneous documentation is fixed in.
State survey asked how is pharmacy aware if there is a late or missed dose. Currently, I am not aware of a feature in CPSI to detemine this without frequent checks to the profile or frequent checks to the medication verification due report. When I say frequent checks I mean several times a day which obviously is not feasible. We are in need of a missed or late dose report that can be ran daily.
