Ability to send appointment reminders electronically, maybe even automatically (via text/email) with customizable patient instructions (e.g. Arrive Fasting, Bring Blood Sugar Logs, Do Not Take Blood Thinners Before Procedure, etc.)
Customizable check boxes with the ability to add free text if needed would be great
Right now patient instructions can be added to appointment, but CPSI users are the only ones who can see them. They would have to be manually printed and mailed to patient or opened and called to inform each patient individually.
Our Patient Connect product has this capability! Patient Connect sends appointment reminder and confirmation messages to the patient via text and email. You can also send instructions to the patient along with the ability to capture the patient's image of their driver's license, insurance card and have them sign consent forms via text and email prior to the appointment.
